Albrighton 1st XI compete in the Shropshire County Cricket League Division 2. The team is lead under the captaincy of Chris Morris who is supported by Adam Shimmons in the Vice Captain role.

Having gained promotion into Division 2 for the 2023 season, the Blue Caps finished 6th in Division 2 for the 2024 season. The Blue Caps will set about establishing themselves in the Division, looking as ever to perform to the highest of standards and mixing it with fresh competition in 2025.

The team practices on twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season from 6.30pm. Fixtures can be found on the events calendar of the website, with live league standings found here.

Included in the hardball membership are free training sessions twice a week, discounted bar prices at "The Cricketers Bar" and access to promotional offers throughout the season.

You will also be included within the selection process for Shropshire County League games on a Saturday where the 1st XI compete in Divison 2 and the 2nd XI in Division 7. Match donations for these games are £8.00 for Over 18's and £5.00 for Under 18's.

Opportunities are also available for friendly games with the Sunday XI. Match donations for these games are £5.00 for all players.

Included is also a free social membership for a non-playing partner who can also benefit from the discounted bar prices.
