Albrighton 1st XI compete in the Shropshire County Cricket League Division 2. The team is lead under the captaincy of Adam Shimmons who is supported by Chris Morris in the Vice Captain role.

Having gained promotion into Division 2 for the 2023 season, the Blue Caps will set about establishing themselves in Div 2, looking as ever to perform to the highest of standards and mixing it with fresh competition in 2024.

The team practices on Tuesday evenings throughout the season from 6.30pm. Fixtures can be found on the events calendar of the website, with live league standings found here.

Included in the £60.00 Full Player membership and £30.00 18-21 year old Player membership are free training sessions  on Tuesdays as well as access for your spouse/partner at Ladies cricket training also on Tuesdays.

You will also be included within the selection process for Shropshire County League games on a Saturday where the 1st XI compete in Divison 2 and the 2nd XI in Division 7. Match donations for these games are £8.00 for Over 18's and £5.00 for Under 18's.

Opportunities are also available for friendly games with the Sunday XI. Match donations for these games are £5.00 for all players.
