For the 2025 Season, Albrighton Cricket Club, will hold an Unders 8's session incorporating the ECB initative All Stars Cricket. Please note you do not need to join the All Stars initiative to be involved with our Under 8 junior section.

Junior training for Under 8's runs every Friday from 6:30pm from late April through to the end of July.

A registration session will be held mid April (TBC) at 4:00pm to act as a welcome back and a taster session for new players as well as a chance to meet your coaches for the season and to give all families a chance to complete their membership. The registration session will be followed by a Family Bingo Night with a Fish and Chip Supper.

Coaches for the 2025 season are Dani Shimmons and Karyn Shimmons. 

The Under 8 players will have the opporuntity to play in Shropshire-led Festivals. Fixtures are yet to be released and will be uploaded once available.

About the ECB All Stars Cricket initative 

All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so.

Every child that registers will receive a personalised t-shirt with their name on it.

Registration is simple and easy. When registrations opens on the ECB website,  go to Find a Club under the Organise Cricket tab and use our session finder to find Albrighton Cricket Club. From there you can follow the registration links and pay online. If you are unable to find your centre, please complete the form at the bottom of the page for further information.

ACC membership for 2025 is open and details can be found here

Included in the junior membership are free training sessions for on Friday nights, these typically run from late April through to the end of July.

You will also have the opportunity to play in Shropshire-run Festivals for Under 8's (AllStars) and Under 11's (Dynamos) as well as Under 13 mid-week league cricket.

For children wishing to join the All Stars or Dynamos ECB cricket programme, this is completed purely through the ECB website. ECB have confirmed for the 2025 season this is £50.00 per child.  

With this membership you also have the opportunity for optional extras:
