For the 2024 Season, Albrighton Cricket Club, will hold an Unders 8's session incorporating the ECB initative All Stars Cricket.

Please note you do not need to join the All Stars initiative to be involved with our Under 8 junior section.

Coaches for the 2024 season are Dani Shimmons, Karyn Shimmons, Lexy Kane and Helen Billinghurst. 

Albrighton Cricket Club junior training starts late April (TBC) at 6:30pm - which is welcome to all to get into cricket. A registration session will be held mid April (TBC) at 6:30pm to act as a welcome back and a taster session for new players as well as a chance to meet your coaches for the season and to give all families a chance to complete their membership.

About All Stars Cricket

All Stars Cricket is an initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board which aims at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.

Albrighton Cricket Club, is one of over 2,200 clubs involved as an All Stars Centre in 2021, this programme features:

• Coaching for all children aged five to eight
• Eight one-hour sessions, held over eight weeks 
• Emphasis on fun and being active
• Focus on developing your child's movement skills
• Great first introduction to cricket
• Safe and fully accredited
• Valuable time with your kids – mums and dads are encouraged to take part too

To be an All Stars member each child registers online at Albrighton Cricket Club All Stars Registration (when the link opens), paying £40 per child direct to the ECB.

This year the club will ask for Parents/Guardians who register their child for the All Stars Programme through the ECB also sign up to the club's Parent/Guardian Membership of £30.00, this is a one off payment to the club and not per child. Please view our 2024 Membership here.

Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies including a cricket bat, ball, personalised shirt and cap which was all sent straight to their door.

Those returning to All Stars will receive a kit bag filled with a set of stumps, a new ball and personalised t-shirt.
