Albrighton Roses Ladies Softball Cricket Team
Please pass on the word to all Ladies you know family and friends, that the aim of the 'Albrighton Roses' is to get Ladies involved and all to enjoy a fun, social time, playing cricket with music throughout the summer. There is no pressure and all the equipment is provided, just come along wearing something comfortable.

Indoor Softball league 2020 – We have entered one team into the Wrekin College Softball League which will run for 5 weeks on a Thursday night from 30th January 2020 to 27th February 2020.
As promised here are the details, fixtures and rules attached for the indoor league starting 30th January at Wrekin College on a Thursday night.
Those who played last year will agree it is still fun, but does have a little more competition involved, but as the Roses normally do we just had a lot of fun taking part and still played to our play list of music and had a great laugh, even when breaking nails and making the umpires laugh a lot.
The Roses games are :
30th January - 8pm
6th February - 6.30pm & 7pm
27th February - 7pm & 8pm
Then of course the finals night of 12th March :-)
Subs for the matches will be £3 per person per match. We just need to ensure we have 6 ladies available to play in the matches.
To help us with the indoor game, we are holding indoor training sessions on the following Sunday's at Codsall Leisure Centre 10th November, 17th November, 24th November and 2nd December, 2 - 3pm. Subs will be £4 per session, and they will be run by Darren and Andy.
February / March 2020 – we will be once again looking at booking indoor net sessions at Brewood on a Friday night – more details to following shortly – it will be similar to how it was run this year, we will hopefully train at the same time as the juniors with the Ladies in 2 nets and the Juniors in the other 2 nets and then the seniors will follow on afterwards. These sessions are usually £3 per session to cover the cost of the hire of the hall.
