Junior & Senior Cricket Update

Junior and Senior Cricket Update.
Sadly we have to advise that due to the poor weather we have been having, the Senior Pre-Season Practice Match scheduled for this Saturday 14th April has had to be postponed. This is to ensure that we protect the pitch ready for the forth-coming season.
Senior players will be holding a net session between 4pm – 6pm at the Ground on Saturday 14th April.
I can confirm that Junior Registration will still go ahead as follows:
· At the Redhouse in the village between 9.30am – 12.30pm at the Inaugural Club, Society and Voluntary Group Event being held Saturday 14th April it is FREE ENTRY, coffee & tea is available.
· At the Cricket Club between 4pm – 6pm on Saturday 14th April, this will be held inside due to the pitch conditions being too wet to run an outdoor session.
Junior Training is due to start on Friday 20th April, however we will keep you updated with the condition of the pitch. Taking into consideration the health and safety of the children and the progress of the pitch drying out. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
All clubs in Shropshire are in the same situation and everyone is praying for warmer and drier weather, so the league can start on time.
