In 2020 Albrighton Cricket Club has introduced tighter training schedules where as a club we must adhere to the guidelines of the ECB and Government. This year we have purchased a "Bola" Professional Bowling machine which is suitable for all age groups which uses hard-balls. We also have the Junior Bowling machine for use of the softer bowling balls.

Under the new Guidelines set, Albrighton Cricket Club can currently offer the following to our "paid up" members (Minimum requirement is Social Membership at £15)

Junior & Ladies Bowling Machine "Sessions" ( Softball )

These sessions are suitable for our Junior members under the age of 13 and our Ladies "Roses" Softball team. This session uses Softball Balls and Paceman machine that can deliver the ball up to 55mph. Each Session is 30 minutes long and held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Evenings between 6.30pm and 8.00pm. Junior / Ladies Bowling Sessions are limited to one sessions per user per week.

 

"Bola" Bowling Machine "Sessions" ( Hardball )

These sessions are suitable for our Senior members and Under 15 Squad (Under 13`s can use with Parental/Coach consent.) This session uses Hardballs and Bola Professional Bowling machine that can deliver the ball up to 30mph and 70mph. Each Session is 30 minutes long and held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Evenings. Ladies Softball "Group Sessions" for the Roses

These Group sessions are suitable for our Ladies Softball squad, There are weekly sessions on Tuesday Evenings from 6.30pm and also Sunday morning sessions from 10.30am. New Ladies are welcome to join in for a taster session and enjoy the fun.

Senior Training "Group Sessions"

These Group Sessions are suitable for our Senior teams who play league cricket, new players are welcome to joins our Senior teams. Training nights for the teams are Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm using the two fixed nets and Thursday evenings with the mobile net.

One to One Coaching Sessions with Cookie Patel

Albrighton Cricket Club is proud to confirm the availability of a Level 4 coach for one to one coaching sessions on Monday`s between 1.00pm and 6pm with Cookie Patel at £30.00 a session.
